This is the beginning of a b-e-autiful internship

No, not the kind you were probably thinking of, what I always talk about. :P

Last week I think it was I went to a far way place through the city and come out to a suburban setting in Agawam. I was meeting Jamie there at the barn she works at and boards her horse Opal, and her new colt, Bentley. Anywhoo me and another photographer Ashley, who is graduating from a photography college joined in for a "interview" of the sorts, Jamie set us up with shows and we talked about them and tips and tricks and all that fun stuff and after that day I became Jamie's intern untill I go off to college in the fall. Caps Lock is necessary so...I'M SO EXCITED! This is going to be amazing and I'm going to have so much fun and learn so much! It puts my two favorite loves, horses and photography! Win for me! ;)

Omfgomg Good News!

This like happened a week ago so I'm, as usual, not with it. But If I didn't mention before I will now, Othello AND Mathijs went to Texas for the FPZV (Friesian German Registry) Stallion Performance Test to see if they get breeding Approval. Well...THEY DID IT! BOTH Othello and Mathijs got Approval in the FPZV. Mathijs received the second highest score of all time with an 8.4 overall and Champion Driving Horse. Othello made Champion Dressage and Riding Horse. So both overall got Champion - Othello and Reserve Ch. - Mathijs. =D Congrats Boys! <3

I Heart Rambling

So I know I haven't posted anything in a few weeks which isn't surprising to me since I do have things to do. Life has just been boring so why should I write about boring things. Anyways, I went to Friesians yesterday and had a wonderful ride on a nice little mare named, Ynskje! I rode her on my birthday, but this ride was MUCH better then the last one. =) There wasn't a lot of snow up there which was kind of surprising. Speaking of Friesians, the new babies will be stating to arrive in a few weeks with the first mare due in the beginning of March. Speaking of March, the FPZV Stallion Performance Test will be starting in two weeks and we are all very excited for Othello and Mathjis. Well tht all I got now, Byebye.

FOMBGA

FOMBGA - Friesians of Majesty Birthday Getaway Adventure.

So, I'm back from my wonderful weekend at FOM. It was great to see all of our old friends and to meet some new ones. =)

So saturday was a busy, busy, busy, busy, day. Yes. Bob had 5 sleigh rides and the day was filled with riding lessons, luckily I got to ride in the morning and in the early evening. First I rode a nice mare named Ynskje. She was like Ylva from last year. Since I haden't ridden in over 3 months it wa a steatching and warm up ride. So the afternoon went on and it was time for me to ride again around 3:00. I got to ride their second-most top dressage horse, Hendrick T. My mom got to ride Hendrick O. their top dressage horse. Lucky. It was an amazing ride! A Second Level Dressage Friesian feels so wonderful! So we worked on a lot of things since I was making a video for a college. He has great everything. At two points he had a mini spaze attack and "took off" at a "gentle" gallop in a circle, I rode it and got an awesome canter out of his energy. He did it again but it was from me overaiding in my canter departure. It was fun though. His canter was so amazing and "fast" my eyes were watering from the wind shear. Hehe. So after all the rides me and about 8 other people met in the viewing room for goodies and good laughs. =) Sunday we hung around for a bit and then made the journey back home. It was a really good weekend and I know I'm going up real soon.

P.S: Bob actually remembered what we discussed at EA. Hurray! One step closer. ;)
